Nia trained and worked professionally as a musical theatre performer for over 20 years but at the forefront of her mind was always a deep desire to know and understand her self better, always inquisitive about what the challenges and experiences of life were there to teach her.

Never was this curiosity more profoundly tested than when she discovered in 2010 she was infertile due to the surprising diagnosis of Premature Ovarian Insufficiency. Through the depths of grief and a loss of the woman she thought she was, she emerged with a new found sense of self and a story that quite unexpectedly for her, had a positive impact on others.

As a writer Nia has documented her journey from diagnosis to finding peace in a collection of blogs. Her series of videos and podcasts, ‘Fishing For The Truth’ was born from the realisation that we can learn from other people’s experiences more about how we think and feel about our own lives and the world we live in. Her passion is connecting with others, her aim, to give them a safe space in which to tell their truth whilst lending an empathetic and compassionate ear.
